Dr. Edwards produces the CALLED-UP team’s fundraising and development campaign. He brings 40+ years of experience connecting media, entertainment, sports, and public cause education at regional and national levels. He has created award-winning, partner-led education programs with the public transit industry and nationally televised broadcasts. Dr. Edwards chairs the UCLA Beloved Community Initiative Advisory Board and holds a UCLA BA in economics, an Anderson MBA in finance and marketing, and a DBA in business administration and entrepreneurship from Grand Canyon University. In 1976, he played on the NCAA Rose Bowl-winning UCLA Bruins football team and earned First Team All-American Defensive Back/Safety honors from UPI and the Kodak-American Football Coaches Association.
